dancing through the ebb and flow

bobbing daringly near the mouths of carnivorous creatures

the bubble rises

full of hope

and innocence


it bounces off of currents, kisses soft seaweed,

gently hugs giant hedges of green hues

floating skyward

bound for beauty

and adventure


reaching the surface, determined not to pop

the bubble braces itself for the unknown

with wonder

and excitement

it breaks through
